I had a pretty good stay, with some highlights and some areas for improvement. The staff members were generally friendly, and the breakfast buffet had a nice variety. While the rooms were spacious and comfortable, I did have some issues at check-in and with noise from the hallways. Overall, it’s a nice place, but there are some rough edges that could be smoothed out.
The hotel boasts a modern feel and is ideally located, making it convenient to explore the area. However, I experienced some cleanliness issues and the service left something to be desired, especially given the higher price tag. The overall stay was enjoyable, yet there were notable shortcomings that impacted my experience.
Overall, I had a delightful stay at the hotel, particularly enjoying the great location near the water and various attractions. The rooms were clean and had a unique nautical theme, though they were a bit on the small side. The dining options were decent, especially the breakfast buffet, with a variety of choices and lovely views. However, I wish there were better options for dining at night, as well as more outdoor spaces, since the pool area had a less appealing view of the parking garage.
I had a wonderful weekend at the Newport Marriott, enjoying a fantastic water view from my room and the hotel’s ideal location, which made it easy to explore nearby shops and attractions. The room was comfortable and clean, but a glitch with valet service at check-in was a letdown and impacted my overall experience. I'd definitely recommend this hotel and would return for another stay.
